Exploration and hardship may be considered Nomads’ «pleasing flavours», a kind of starter on their Kavafian journeys. However, their Ithaca remains the same: true values that are as precious for those who honor them, as indifferent for those who have passed them by. The Nomad Man knows the difference between honourable competition and ill-mannered rivalry, the nobility of wisdom and the inexorability of the half-learner, the calm of power and the stress of self-imposing. He knows well that individuality and the distinction of roles, when combined with team effort and voluntary discipline, produce an unmatched result. He always seeks after self-improvement and provides his skills in service of those who need them, either within the team or to those who work with the team: in ecologically vulnerable sites, to residents of difficult-to-access areas, and to fellow travelers of the Nomads, in their adventures. The Nomad man brings his way of living to harmony with the values he honours. He encompasses his fellow men with the positive energy he radiates, the energy that becomes a motive and an example for them, en route for a genuine and true way of life. |
